Crocodile Ground Work Sub-system
This seminar covers the basics of the Crocodile Groundwork Sub-system of SSBD. Due to the devistating nature of the techniques instructed, they are NOT meant for sport application or competitions. The ground work done in SSBD are done in a way so that we can use our knives more efficiently, it is not meant for fighting unarmed or fighting fairly, those attributes comes with the process.
These techniques are not for self defence on the streets or for scoring points in a competition.
The seminar topics are just «options» when confronted with dangers in unfamilar environment. Not as a set or specific technique that you have to do. Everything has a place in its own time. If a person is fortunate he may never have to use the movements taught in the seminar in his life time, but muggings and attacks happend in places where you least expect them to be – rainy muddy parks, wet small alleys, slippery dark corners, icy pathways, etc; environment where you may find yourself on the ground weather you want to be there or not. Muggers and attackers usually choose environments and situations that are more advantageous to them and inconvinient for the victim, having some knowledge of what to do during these «times of less fortunate» may help to lessen the risk of injury or death in the victims part.
As this is a promotional video, the complete set of movements which makes the techniques work are not shown. An experienced martial artist will know that «what you dont see is what makes things work».
In the history of any country, no war or revolution is fought unarmed, it involves weapons of any kind. Think about it.
Feedbacks from the seminar, during and after the event was very encouraging. Everyone wanted to know more about Bruneian Martial Arts and Brunei Darussalam in general.
40 out of 43 particapants that came were experienced martial arts instructors from different parts of Europe.
